Why is this free?
BUCA is free because I/we see no benefit in monetizing the use of this software. I/We believe that volunteering in an resident association is payment enough to allow your use of this app.
Will the development and maintenance of BUCA ever stop?
I/We hope that the development of BUCA stays on forever. To ensure that happens, we would need to ensure this application is important for resident associations. Currently, the development and maintenance of BUCA is still ongoing.
How secure is your web application?
Our web application is hosted on Heroku which utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS) technology. Heroku itself adheres to many security assessments and compliance. To know more, have a read on Heroku's security policy.
Will the data on this application ever be sold?
I/We do not believe in such short term gains. Most people who volunteer in a resident association tries to do good and I/we are here to do the same.
